Machiavelli's The Prince in the original Italian, in L. Arthur Burd's heavily annotated edition of 1891. It carries an introduction by Lord Acton, who sets out his severe moral judgment of Machiavelli and his influence. Burd's notes cite the sources for the text, and the volume is a scholarly edition rather than a translation.
