Thank you for the opportunity to convey my very high regard and great appreciation for the outstanding body of work of my friend Hans-Hermann Hoppe. Hans is an original thinker and tireless fighter for the ideas of individual freedom and a free market economy. We desperately need scholars like him now more than ever.

John V. Denson (donna.moreman@alacourt.gov) is a Circuit Judge in Lee County, Alabama and has been closely connected with the Ludwig von Mises Institute since it was founded. He is the editor of two books, The Costs of War and Reassessing the Presidency and is the author of a third book A Century of War.
