Austrian theory & method Markets, trade & industry

Seven Israel Kirzner essays collected by FEE, with an introduction by Steven Horwitz. The title essay, in four parts on supply and demand, entrepreneurial discovery, market competition and government economic policy, ran in The Freeman from January to April 2000. The rest span five decades of Kirzner's writing for FEE: a 1972 lecture on advertising, a three-part 2006 essay on economic advice, a 1998 piece on economic education, and two essays from FEE's 1996 golden jubilee issue of The Freeman on Human Action's reception and Austrian economics at FEE.
